The Toggl Track Button has come a long way since its launch a few years back and we hope to make it greater still. The last option is super handy if you often find yourself leaving work in a hurry and wish to avoid all those pesky 8-hour reminder emails. If you wish, you can set the Toggl Track Button to start tracking your latest task whenever you open Chrome, or stop whenever you close your browser. In earlier versions of Toggl Track Button, you had to fill in your time entry details every time you started the timer (unless you started it form a task in another tool). 3 – It can continue tracking with a single click You’ll also have the option to keep working under the same time entry, but scrapping the interruption. When “Idle detection” is enabled, the Button will ask you if you wish to discard your idle time when you start working again. Luckily, Toggl Track Button can detect when you’re not using your computer. Before you know it, you’re in deep discussing dinner plans with a coworker and by the time you get back to your desk you have no idea when you stopped working. So you get up from your computer to get some coffee. 2 – It remembers when you forget to stop your timer You’ll also be able to customise your reminders, so for example if you don’t wish to be bombarded with notifications outside your working days you can simply disable them for the weekend.
